The first of Warlords V3 reveals dropped today, with insights on the new V3 force composition rules. V3 will see a big change in this area. While the infantry (rifle) platoon will still be the basic building block, rather than having a few support units you will pick support platoons. These support platoons include Heavy Weapons platoons, Engineer platoons, artillery platoons, armoured platoons and recee platoons (plus extra rifle platoons). This approach to force composition is more historically accurate than the v2 approach, but I am having trouble wrapping my head around how this will balance? We will obviously have to wait for a few more reveals to understand the bigger picture! Certainly seems like we will all need a few officers and support units!
